Hi everyone!
Just wanted to give you all a quick update on things before I leave. I will be driving to Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Thursday around 1:00. I'll be staying the night with my cousins before leaving for the airport near Fayetteville on Friday around 9:45. Like pretty much every trip I've gone on before, I'm starting to get a little melancholy thinking about leaving my family, but I know once I get there, I will be super excited :)
The thing I am most excited for about this trip is getting to actually apply all of the things I've been learning in my classes in a missions setting. This is exactly the type of thing I want to do when I graduate and this is a great opportunity to "practice" before graduation! I want the work I do to make a difference and I can't wait to come alongside the ministry YWAM has going in Harpenden.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for partnering with me this summer! Your financial support and prayers are invaluable! I truly consider all of you my friends and I feel very blessed to have you all in my life :)
I have no idea how much time I'll have once I'm over there to write blog posts but I will do my best to keep you in the loop and post lots of pictures!
Also, I still have about $4200 that I'm trying to raise, so if you know anyone looking to help support a short-term missionary, feel free to pass my support letter (attached to the previous blog post) along to them!
